Sex 101
There is no way to avoid the issue of sex - it is a definite part of our lives
and it is all around us. No matter where you live or how you live, you are
destined to be exposed to sex during your lifetime. After all, it's how you
came to be and it's how each and everyone of us came into existence.
But when it comes to learning about sex, some of us are limited to what
we are taught in school classrooms and what we learn from our friends -
which often results in a lot of complicated and useless information and/or
information that isn't exactly true. That's what this website is all about.

The hope is that it can clear up some of the mysteries of sex and help
young people that are just exploring both, their own bodies and the bodies of their friends and others, as well as to help those that have been experimenting with sex for sometime without enjoying the fulfillment that they would like. The truth is that unless we take the time to learn about our own bodies we are not likely to enjoy the pleasures we should when we have sex. It is also true that inhibitions can result in a less than fun sex life.
But before going into such matters there are many details that need to be covered. First of all, when is a person ready for sex? Believe it or not, age does not necessarily determine readiness. Although this writer and website is not going to take a strong stand on what age is right or wrong for sexual exploration, I will say that some 15 year olds are more mature sexually than some 20 year olds.
This does not mean that 15 year olds should have sex, but some are better prepared than their older counterparts. Having sex requires psychological preparation. Some people are ready earlier than others.
The truth is that having sex with another person endears you to that person like no other action can. This endearment may only last for a matter of moments but it can be extremely intense and have long-lasting effects. If you are not prepared for the aftermath and the 'consequences' then there are countless possible repercussions.
This can range from hurt feelings to actual depression, or even dealing with STDs or a pregnancy. Obviously, sex is not something that should be practiced with just anyone.
